Drone Delivery Canada (DDC) has successfully tested the Condor drone in Foremost, Alberta, Canada. It has tested numerous critical aspects of the Condor, including: triple-redundant communications system (satellite, cellular, 900MHz RF); triple-redundant navigational guidance system; triple-redundant autopilot system; monitoring of unmanned flights remotely from DDC’s Operations Control Centre in Vaughan, Ontario; general flight stability and performance; and fuel consumption characteristics.

Drone Delivery Canada has successfully tested the critical system for its Condor delivery drone that keeps it safe in the sky. The company plans to complete more testing in Q4 2020 and hope to have it flying commercially soon after.

Drone Delivery Canada announced this week the successful launch of its second cargo drone route with DSV Air and Sea Inc. Canada using the Toronto-based company’s drone delivery platform.
